June 8, 2015 | D&LFollowing his time on X Factor UK, Andrea Faustini returns with his debut single and an album to follow!
Capturing the nations hearts on the television singing competition, backed by judge and mentor Mel B, the Italian singer came third overall, which saw Fleur East take the runner up position and Ben Haenow go on to win.
The single ‘Give A Little Love’ is set for a July 10th release, with his album, Kelly, shortly following on July 17th.
Self describing the project as Gospel infused, Kelly ‘reflects Andrea’s positive nature’ and will include tracks that he covered and performed during his time on the show, as well as eight originals.
“I’m such a positive person and I like to smile even in tough times,” Andrea said, as he went on to discuss his upcoming single release. “This is what life is about for me: be kind to the people you love (and the people you don’t) and always smile… In other words give a little love!” This approach was definitely noticed during his time on the show and can also be heard shining through on the new track.
Since leaving the show, Andrea has been busy in the studio and has also taken the time to enjoy his new found fame as a public figure, a position which has seen him achieve some of his dreams very early on in his career.
Not only has he performed for Vanity Fair in Italy at Milan Expo, but he also received recognition from one of Italy’s most favoured singers (including his own), Elisa Toffoli. Happily joining her on stage in Rome, Christmas time saw Andrea write a track in native for the record’s release! Good times for the young artist who had England and Italy showing love during his time on the show.
