November 22, 2012 | Daniella & Letisha Jones-Ellis

The Grammy Hall of Fame has welcomed some new stars and one of them is actor, singer, songwriter and all round composer and musician James Brown.

The legendary funk and soul artist enjoyed a career of many decades, spanning from the fifities to the noughties, leaving behind an incredible discography, song lyrics and music samples for many to enjoy and even use following his death back in 2006.

Highlighting the historically significant and outstanding achievements of artists in different genres of music, Brown’s popular hit ‘I Got You (I Feel Good)’ takes its position in the famed Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, along with the likes of productions by Little Richard, Ray Charles, Paul McCartney, Frank Sinatra and Willie Mae Thornton to name a few.

Entertaining the masses with his vocals, great energy and even greater dance moves, the ‘Godfather of Soul’ influenced many future artists and gained a huge following with his talent and versatility, creating hits and catering for all tastes in genres of rnb, rock & roll, blues and jazz.

As all American’s celebrate Thanksgiving, L’ART wish you all a happy holiday as we also congratulate the ‘Godfather of Soul’ with one of his feel-good, dance and celebratory classics. Enjoy.
