December 15, 2014 | D&LBeyonce continues to mark the year anniversary of her self titled album with a new video release, following the album’s platinum edition release.
Looking at single’s ‘Yours’ and ‘Mine’ whilst also openly discussing topics of fame, marriage and feminism, the video offers a personal side to Bey, as we’re further able to understand the concepts behind each single and the work that went into the final product many enjoy today.
The updated box set includes two new tracks ‘Ring Off’ and ‘7/11’, four new remixes, footage of 10 live performances, a 2015 mini calendar, two photo books and 17 music videos.
Complete with visuals, director Jonas Akerlund recently revealed behind the scenes footage of his work with Bey on videos for the singles ‘Haunted’ and ‘Superpower’. Pushing her to do something different to the norm, Akerlund was successful in bringing out a darker side to the star on screen, a feature that allows him to have fun and be creative in what he does on a daily basis.
In other Beyonce news, Queen Bey can be heard on Nicki Minaj’s The Pink Print, which is out today! Other features include Ariana Grande, Chris Brown, Drake, Lil Wayne, Jeremih, Meek Mill, Lunchmoney Lewis and Skylar Grey.
