BG Records Brings RAP To Oxford’s Ashmolean

BG Records Brings RAP To Oxford’s Ashmolean

February 18, 2013 | Daniella & Letisha Jones-Ellis

This weekend, members of the BG Records family and the Young Women’s Music Project, will be heading to Oxford’s Ashmolean Museum to bring an afternoon of music and poetry to the masses, as they present RAP.

Offering live performances for the Rhythm and Poetry event, the BG family is offering those aged 14 and upwards the opportunity to learn how to rap in one of the city’s biggest attractions as a monumental building.

From 11am-4pm on Saturday 23rd February, you will not only see the Ashmolean hold the first ever event of its kind, but attendees will also enjoy a free day out with a chance to learn to rap in the surroundings of the museum, acting as a great inspiration for lyrical content and possibly a new talent and hobby.

Will you be there?
