November 21, 2013 | Daniella & Letisha Jones-EllisHere’s a truly charitable fashion gesture that you can take part in this Christmas and it’s all in aid of charity for Save The Children.
The aim of the gesture is to bid on a one off designer sweater that has been created by a range of London’s top fashion designers such as Burberry, McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Giles Deacon any many more.
This collaboration with Save The Children and the British Fashion Council is also the perfect time for you to see the unique customised Christmas jumpers that have been produced for such a great cause. All designs have been hand knitted in the UK by Wool and the Gang and all these stylish pieces will be on display at The Village in London’s Westfield shopping centre on November 28th for all to see.
Plus, here is a way that you can get involved. December 13th will be the designated Save The Children Christmas Jumper Day, where you can text bid for the designer sweater that you want to win and the lowest unique bid will win the selected jumper in question.
“We feel very lucky to have been asked to design for another Save The Children project as it is such a fantastic charity,” said design duo Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos. “We hope that our small contribution is able to make a big difference.”
Now it’s time for you to get involved! Text bid from November 28th to 78484 with the name of your winning designer and your bid.
