Big Sean Shows Appreciation Ahead of Album Drop

February 23, 2015 | D&L

Following feature reveals and an inspiring listening party, Big Sean is all set to release his new album.

Dark Sky Paradise drops tomorrow (February 24th) and will see Sean’s latest project with Roc Nation be released in full, following single releases and radio features of songs ‘Win Some, Lose Some’, ‘Blessings’ and ‘IDFWU’.

It’s also no secret that Sean has been working with several other artists on his third solo studio album, including his girlfriend Ariana Grande on the track ‘Research’. Other features include Drake, Jhene Aiko and Lil Wayne and of course John Legend and Kanye West on the personal track, ‘One Man Can Change The World’.

Commenting on the track during an interview on e news, Sean pays homage to his grandmother, whose achievements in life (which included the first of many in Black female history) remain an inspiration to Sean, and in his view, she deserves to be sung about by John Legend.

Speaking of idols, Sean said: “Hearing Hov say, ‘Great job on this album’ and then not wake up in my bed in Detroit at my mom’s house was awesome.” Remaining humble and thankful, Sean thanked all, including his management and girlfriend, as he expressed his love for the life he lives. “It’s confirmation that we can do anything we put our minds to as human beings. The world is yours.”
