January 4, 2012 | Daniella & Letisha Jones-EllisHaving a famous last name made huge by your parents or even grandparents has its advantages right? It can open the door for you in your future conquests, you could inherit the talented gifts from your blood line and not to mention the personal feelings of pride you have in your relatives accomplishments.
Thirteen-year-old Selah Marley, the daughter of songstress Lauryn Hill and Rohan (son of Reggae star, Bob Marley) recently announced her future goals to become a fashion model. Appearing in a recent issue of Teen Vogue, the teenager speaks on her dream and what it’s really like to be the younger generation of such music royalty.
Describing the camera as fun, she tells Teen Vogue: “People tell me I have to follow in the footsteps of my mum and grandfather, but it’s a lot of pressure – I can’t really slip up and mess up the name.”
With her mother’s striking looks and her father’s tall stature, we doubt disappointment is in her nature. We’ll be keeping an eye out for this teen beauty on future billboards and magazine pages.
