January 5, 2015 | D<he Voice UK winner, Jermain Jackman, announces news of his debut release, ahead of the series four kick off.
Being crowned the winner of series three on team will, the self titled album will be released on March 23rd through London Records, a process Jermain describes as ‘educational, challenging and at times very emotional’.
“My album was created from a blank canvas putting together the verses and choruses, bridges and melodies, singing them over and over until I finally felt I had created an album which was a quality body of work to ‘release’ to the world,” he explained.
“I’m so blessed and thankful to be in this position and happy to have produced an album that I’m really proud of.”
Series four of The Voice UK will begin on Saturday January 10th on BBC1 at 7pm, where hosts Emma Willis and Marvin Humes return to host the blind auditions. Judges Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am and Ricky Wilson will return to their seats, with new judge Rita Ora joining the panel.
This year promises contestants, friends and family that we will recognise as being linked with some famous faces.
“There are a couple of people that you will recognise, definitely,” Emma revealed. “There are also a few people escorting people to auditions that you’ll recognise, so the friends and family of people auditioning are people you will know.”
Tune in this weekend for the start of those big reveals.
