Fashion and beauty will also be a main focus as the Spinthrift Market will be made up of ‘London’s creative designers selling their wares plus a diverse and delicious food festival’.
The idea around the market is to celebrate the best of London’s DIY community and if you’re heavily into thrifting, this is definitely the place to be.

Uptown Yardies – is a British company inspired by Jamaican heritage ‘selling a lifestyle captured through shoes and clothes’. The range is for people who think outside the box when it comes to fashion and their vision is simple: ‘Out of many we are one with a common spirit to create beautiful products yard style’.
Pure Goodness – celebrating the street wear and skate culture, this Brixton based company has three outlets in the area. ‘They are a natural hair and skincare social enterprise that manufactures and retails great natural hair and skincare products at affordable prices. To help tackle the emerging problem of youth unemployment, they aim to give young people the opportunity to develop skills in enterprise and marketing, whilst earning a living selling the handmade natural products they make’.
Afrocenchix – Making natural simple. ‘Afrocenchix work with UK scientists and chemists to formulate high quality products made locally. Beauty with a conscience, their products are never tested on animals, raw materials are ethically sourced and we they’re commited to only using environmentally friendly preservatives’.
