July 18, 2017 | D&LEver since Erdem Moralioglu was named as the next designer to collaborate with H&M, there have been many ideas surrounding the designs and price tags to expect from the line.
He will follow in the footsteps of Lagerfeld, Kenzo, Versace and Maison Margiela and the line is set to drop on November 2nd!
So for the next few months, it looks like the fashion world will have to keep on guessing when it comes to the line as they’re keeping the details very private, but what we do know is that there is a womenswear and menswear range; his very first menswear collection!
When speaking about this new collaboration, Erdem said: “I am so happy to collaborate with H&M, and to explore my work on a whole new scale including a menswear collection, which I have never done before. It’s also such a thrill to work with Baz Luhrmann [renowned film maker], one of the most important storytellers of our time.”
Luhrmann is very well known within the fashion and film community, so for himself and Erdem to be joining forces is also a significant event in 2017. He has a unique talent and way of bringing life and a story behind everything he works on, and this collaboration is no different.
“For me, fashion is always about more than just clothing, it is a form of expression – a standalone art form. I am excited to be collaborating with ERDEM and H&M to reveal the story of this unique collection,” said Luhrmann.
This is definitely one collaboration we’re looking forward to learning more about!
