September 28, 2015 | D&LSeptember is always a busy time in the fashion calendar and this year is no different, as fashion month continues in Milan.
From New York, to London and now Milan (with soon to be Paris), the latest in SS16 creations are being seen in fashion capitals around the world, but let’s not forget the fashion week events also happening a little closer to home.
Oxford Fashion Week (OFW) will be taking place at The Sheldonian Theatre, as the event returns to the venue where it all first started back in 2009.
Since creating Oxford Fashion Studio, OFW will return with two runway shows on October 31st, followed by a black tie Couture event to celebrate the occasion in style.
‘Oxford Fashion Studio’s runway shows exhibit extraordinary designs from exceptional established and emerging designers. The 2015 season spans from September through to November and features runway shows in New York, London, Paris, Houston and Los Angeles.
‘At the heart of Oxford Fashion Studio is a love for brilliant design and a respect for how it invites us to experience life differently’. Past designers to share their work in the historical location include Alexander McQueen, Matthew Williamson and Valentin Yudashkin.
Keep an eye out for the show schedule, as the all important date nears. In the meantime, we’ll be sharing some runway and front row looks on social media, as well as remaining on celebrity fashion watch, as MFW continues (ends September 29th) and PFW gets closer (begins September 29th).
