From Dance Connection Graduates, To Urdang Academy On The Move It Stage

February 5, 2013 | Daniella & Letisha Jones-Ellis

Following the news that saw 61 members of their school perform at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End , local Oxfordshire dance school, Dance Connection (DC) continue to celebrate more great news within their school.

DC graduates Ainsley Ricketts, Miles Burke and Claudia Lewendon Evans not only achieved three year training courses at the Urdang Academy, but will also be performing at this year’s Move It dance weekender at London’s Olympia, taking part in the Urdang performance.

Extremely proud of her graduates, Founder and Teacher Sam Clifton explained how the trio are all familiar with many dance styles, including ballet, tap, jazz and musical theatre to name a few.

“All trained from a very young age at Dance Connection. They were all part of our Senior Performance Squad and did countless functions for us. Claudia was also an assistant teacher,” she continued.

Praising Ainsley, Miles and Claudia as brilliant role models for the rest of the school in performance and as individuals, Sam and the rest of the school love that they very often return to support the school at any workshops or performances they may have.

We look forward to seeing this talented trio on the stage!
