Today has officially been marked Wireless Wednesday, as the organisers have just announced news of a flash sale tonight at 6pm!
As you may know, this is the 10 year anniversary of the successful music festival and to mark the huge occasion and show appreciation to their long-time supporters, the flash sale will allow you to buy tickets for their birthday show (New Look Wireless 10 on June 28th) at some incredibly reduced prices.
Now, if you’re a long-time Wireless Festival goer, you would know that the ticket prices have certainly increased over the years. So with this flash sale comes a great opportunity for you to go back in time to 2005 and pay only £35 for your pass to the event! Compared to the £65+ price range of today, you don’t want to miss out on this bargain.
But you have to be quick because with only 100 tickets up for grabs, this is how it’s going to go. Starting at 6pm tonight, tickets will be up for grabs at the 2005 price of £35 and once they are gone, ticket prices will gradually increase, being sold at the past prices of £37.50 (2006), £40.00 (2007), £45.00 (2008/9), £47.50 (2010), £49.50 (2011), £52.50 (2012), £57.50 (2013) and lastly at £65.00 (2014), until all 100 tickets are sold. Now that we’ve gotten those all important details out the way, here are all the perks you will gain if you’re a lucky winner of these limited tickets.
With some of the best UK and overseas artists on opening day, this flash sale will really bring out the competitive fans if you haven’t yet had the chance to secure your ticket.
Did you hear about how quickly those Drake tickets sold out for his headlining show on July 3rd? Well with these Wireless 10 tickets, this is the last chance and only festival where fans can see him perform in the UK this year!
Plus, don’t forget about the extensive range of overseas artists making an appearance. Watch stars such as Rita Ora (with Katy B), Chance the Rapper, Public Enemy, Kid Ink and Big Sean, Jhene Aiko, ILoveMakonnen, G-Eazy, Black Star (Talib Kweli and Yasiin Bey aka Mos Def) and Raekwon & Ghostface Killah (performing ‘the legendary album Only Built for Cuban Linx’) all rock the stage on opening night. You won’t see a UK line-up as big as this for a long time.
So, will you be attending the ‘party of all parties’?
Good luck with buying your tickets! 6pm is the time you need.
