April 19, 2016 | D<he female artists are no strangers when it comes to collaborating – anyone remember tracks ‘Let Me Blow Ya Mind’ and ‘Rich Girl’? – and now Gwen Stefani and Eve are set to go on tour together in North America.
The tour is the latest announcement to come from Stefani following her new album release, This Is What The Truth Feels Like. Now the new tour (with the same title) launches on July 12th with tickets going on sale this Friday April 22nd.
Starting off in Mansfield, Massachusetts on July 12th (Xfinity Centre) and closing on October 15th in Inglewood, California (The Forum), the star couldn’t wait to share the news with her fans on social media.
On twitter she wrote: “SO excited for the #ThisIsWhatTheTruthFeelsLikeTOUR w/ @therealeve! See dates & RSVP: livemu.sc/GwenStefaniTOUR.”
With this also being her first solo album in 10 years, the singer is more than ready to perform in front of her fans again, as is Eve who in addition has (unintentionally) spent a long time away from music.
Eve said: “What kept me away wasn’t something that was conscious. It was more just life stuff. I moved to a new country, I got married. I just needed to settle again… Being on a set like Barbershop and being with so many people… you get inspired and I’m in a nice place now where I do feel inspired.”
Will you be joining the ladies on tour? Plus, who knows, they might just perform their throwback collaborations as well as their new and favourite material.
