Indulge In Chloe’s Personal Style As She Reveals Her CJG Christmas Collection

December 3, 2013 | Daniella & Letisha Jones-Ellis

Chloe Jade Green is certainly making a name for herself! She has had an incredible response to her previous shoe collections with the poignant green sole and now the young fashion designer is revealing her AW13 Christmas capsule collection for you to indulge in!

The collection arrives at the perfect time – for what most people refer to as the party season – and Chloe has paid close attention to this. When sitting down to create her next range, Chloe only had one thing in mind.

“I wanted to develop a range that was specific to the holiday season that would combine real show stoppers for parties and cool biker boots for long winter walks,” said Chloe. “I’ve included really cosy winter boots with real sheepskin linings, as well as simple classic nude courts that are perfect for any occasion.”

Growing up with her father, Sir Philip Green, who is the CEO of Arcadia Group (Topshop, Dorothy Perkins and BHS), Chloe was always fascinated with her father’s work ethic. She was inspired by the business world he was involved in and this pushed her to achieve her own working goals.

Now following a successful number of collections, Chloe is used to looking at various avenues for inspiration. “I took inspiration from winter frosts and really wanted to incorporate shimmer fabrics on some of the plainer leathers. I’ve used real Swarovski crystals for the first time this season too.

But also believing in her own personal styles and ideas, Chloe isn’t afraid to stick to what she thinks is best. “I try not to be too influenced by other designers – I think it’s more important to stay true to your own identity. I’ve always wanted the collection to incorporate some of my personality and reflect my own style.

“I think this collection definitely encompasses that.” So why not get into the party season mood and take your pick of the CJG item that catches your eye.
