October 2, 2017 | D&LRepresenting for the UK, Ebenezer shares his first single, and it’s already had its radio premiere with MistaJam.
Think RnB with hints of Trap, as he releases ‘Cliche’; his first drop since deciding to step out alone when it comes to music as a solo project.
‘“Cliché is a testament to who I am, my truth,” he explains.
“I’ve always been the one to say how I feel and not think twice about fitting in. I’ve always tried to be honest and transparent in everything I do especially in my music.”
Always keeping it real and coming with a story to tell, Ebenezer draws inspiration from his upbringing, and a childhood where he specifically remembers his mum working hard, holding down three jobs, whilst he spent time with his cousins listening to music.
‘“My brother was like the father, looked out for me, made sure I was straight,” he continued. “Gave me hand-me-downs, put me on game, don’t do this, do this, spend evenings listening to MTV Base, learning to produce.”
Already having an impressive history of collaborations with the likes of Ty Dolla $ign, Jeremih, and Craig David to date, it’s time for this talent to take centre stage.
