March 30, 2015 | D&LFashion designer Tom Ford is highly recognised as one of the top British designers of this time and now he’s proving that it’s not just his design skills that deserve a positive response.
It is believed that Tom is returning to the film industry, as he makes a return from his directorial debut back in 2009 (‘A Single Man’) with a screenplay titled ‘Nocturnal Animals’.
With claims that he is working on a ‘postmodern noir thriller’, fans immediately thought back to his previous work in film and wondered what direction his creative mind will be going to next.
What we do know is that the movie will be a screen adaptation of US novelist Austin Wright’s ‘Tony and Susan’, and with more involvement in the storyline this time around – as Tom will write and direct the film – fans are already putting on the pressure for this to be a successful follow-up to his previous work in the film industry.
Although claims have not been completely confirmed just yet, followers of the London designer have been awaiting his next directorial project for some time now.
Will the wait soon be over?
