October 27, 2014 | D&LJennifer Hudson and Ellie Goulding join Iggy Azalea on her new album release!
Reclassified is due for release on November 24th, making it the second album release for Iggy this year. Featuring the new single ‘Beg For It’ feauring MØ, the new release from the Australian rapper will include seven tracks from her debut The New Classic, as well as five brand new tracks featuring the US and UK singers.
‘The single is brimming with Iggy’s signature double-time flow, rauchhaus bassline and an infectious vocal hook from up and coming songstress MØ.’
Acting as a deluxe version of The New Classic, the new album will include the previously released singles ‘Fancy’, which has sold seven million copies worldwide, ‘Work’ and ‘Black Widow’ featuring Rita Ora, which has sold two million copies worldwide. With a great year in music to date, an appearance on Saturday Night Live this past weekend, Iggy’s singles as well as her features on JLo’s ‘Booty’ and T.I.’s ‘No Mediocre’ have also gained her recognition for her skills on the mic.
‘Iggy now boasts the longest ever run at Billboard #1 by a female rapper (eclipsing Lil’ Kim’s 5 week run in 2001 with ‘Lady Marmalade)’ and with her lead with six nominations for this year’s American Music Awards (where Mary J. Blige will be performing), including ‘New Artist Of The Year’ and ‘Single Of The Year’, she may just earn a few more titles before the year is out.
