Keke Palmer Films Music For New Movie

February 3, 2015 | D&L

Singer, dancer and actor Keke Palmer joins Cory Hardrict and Quincy Brown (aka Quincy Combs) for new movie, Brotherly Love, hitting movie theatres this April.

Including other cast members Romeo Miller, Macy Gray and Eric D Hill Jr, the film is set at Philadelphia’s famed high school, Overbrook, where we follow the school’s top basketball player, Sergio Taylor. With a focus on the life of Sergio, his brother and sister, we get an insight into their struggles following the death of their father.

‘This story takes place in a city where the life expectancy of a black male is twenty-five years of age. A city that had over four hundred murders last year alone, and where the unemployment rate is at an all time high.

‘The story is painted with a kaleidoscope of music, sports and characters that will bring the last two generations closer together by allowing them to see the inner lives of our youths in the journey of Brotherly Love’.

Recently spotted filming a music video for the movie, Keke’s single, ‘No Love’, is expected to be included on the movie’s soundtrack.

Brotherly Love hits theatres April 24th (subject to location).
