October 29, 2012 | Daniella & Letisha Jones-Ellisadly this weekend saw the loss of a great friend, sister, daughter, mother and group member to the girls of rnb trio Blaque, as singer and rapper of the group Natina Reed passed away on Saturday.
Being the protege group of the late Lisa ‘Left-Eye’ Lopes of TLC, Natina, Shamari Fears-Devoe and Brandi Williams became popular in the nineties and 00’s with hits such as ‘I’m Good’, which was included on the soundtrack of dance movie Honey, ‘808’ and ‘Bring It All To Me’ following their signing to Left-Eye Productions.
The girls also featured in the popular 2000 cheerleading movie Bring It On, alongside their fellow team mate Gabrielle Union and the East Compton Clovers.
With her 33rd birthday also passing this weekend, we remember the pint sized talent for her great vocal skills, personality on screen and her signature hip-hop style.
R.I.P. Natina Reed.
