L’ART’s Weekend Anthem With Iggy Azalea & Rita Ora

July 4, 2014 | Daniella & Letisha Jones-Ellis

Iggy Azalea and Rita are the latest female singers to collaborate on a track together and it goes by the name of ‘Black Widow’. Whilst the video is still ‘in the making’, the single has started to be played on local radio stations, plus there are said to be some famous faces in the music video, so be on the look out!

“We’re gonna have a very crazy music video, with a lot of other people that you guys may know, playing different characters,” said Iggy Azalea. “I’m really excited about it.”

With the song now getting more air-play, Iggy has also revealed her own musical influences throughout her career and she certainly relates more to her Southern music roots. “I love Outkast, I love Tip. I love Houston, Rap-A-Lot Records. The thing that I always loved about Southern music was that they were country, and being from Australia, I was from the country.

“So that was a thing that I kind of felt like I could identify with more than with a rapper that was from LA and New York City.” Could this be a hint at the kind of famous faces we’ll be seeing in the music video? There’s not long left to find out…
