May 13, 2016 | D&LJennifer Lopez continues to do a lot in the music industry, not only for herself, but women, Latinas and anyone who aspires to be a dancer, singer, actress, you name it, and her latest achievement continues to prove exactly that.
Having recently released her single ‘Ain’t Your Mama’, ever since dropping the visual, the song has become even more of a hit with listeners, particularly those behind the running theme throughout of gender equality.
Encouraging females everywhere to sing the words “I ain’t your mama,” the single will have you owning these words as much as JLo, whilst making it be known that women are on this Earth to be more than just domestic goddesses.
With many hits on YouTube, an upbeat and dance laced track and visual to match, JLo portrays many roles including that of a fifties housewife, whilst performing a killer dance routine in a pair of boots from Rihanna’s fashion collaboration with Manolo Blahnik.
“The whole idea is don’t treat me like I’m invisible,” JLo said of the track. “I’m not your mother. I’m not here to just cook and clean for you.”
We agree! Here’s your anthem.
