L’ART’s Weekend Anthem With T-Pain

L’ART’s Weekend Anthem With T-Pain

May 27, 2016 | D&L

ince releasing his latest album drop, Stoicville: The Phoenix at the end of last year, T-Pain has kept the bangers coming with the likes of ‘Officially Yours’ and ‘Hundred Mo Dollas’, and he’s not about stop there.

Striking again and making it a hatrick, the follow up single comes in the form of ‘Look At Me’, a song that sees T-Pain address today’s society’s love for social media and all the ‘snapping” that comes with it.

From selfies, photos and emoji’s, T-Pain mentions it all, as he gets all the feelings off his chest about the girls who are self absorbed and obsessed with everything Snapchat, Facebook etc.

Lyrics such as “You ain’t said a word, you just looking at the screen, emoji, emoji,” and “get that camera off your face”, set great scenes for the meaning behind the track, which is also featured on his album drop, Stoicville: The Phoenix. But what did T-Pain himself have to say on the theme?

“Selfies can be pretty sexy but this song is about those irritating ass selfie videos that girls do where they just stare at the camera not saying anything.” he said. Can anyone else relate?

As you have a think on it, here’s your weekend anthem. Enjoy!
