March 11, 2016 | D<he weekend anthem spot this week goes to the super talented, Ariana Grande with her new song ‘Dangerous Woman’.
The singer has been encouraging fans to count down to the release of the track with her and now it has finally been revealed, and at a fitting time as well. March marks National Women’s History month, so the message in this song is a great contribution to celebrate women from all walks of life and of all ages.
Following the official National Women’s Day on March 8th, Ariana said: “Happy International Women’s Day… I mean week… I mean month… I mean year… I mean life.” She sure did get her point across with this ongoing movement not just being for one day, but it being a lifestyle and making others aware that women should celebrate themselves and others every day.
The song has already been used for promoting Victoria’s Secret Swim Special this week and we’re sure it will be the female anthem for many more events to come. One person who has been extremely excited to release ‘Dangerous Woman’ is Ariana herself.
“I’ve been waiting forever to share this music with you,” she said as the release date got closer. “Now is our time. Thank you for being so patient, thank you for not giving up on me and thank you for the most overwhelming love. I really can’t wait for you to hear everything. I’ve been trying to be so chill and composed about it but I’m actually combusting internally.
The track has officially been released and is already available to download, plus look out for the album (which you can pre-order), due for release on May 20th.
