L’ART’s Weekend Anthem With Public Enemy

This week it was announced that artist’s with a career to be notified and honoured were to be the new entrant’s enrolled into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Hip-Hop group Public Enemy were one of the lucky recipients and with a career now spanning an amazing 30 years, Flava Flav, Chuck D, Professor Griff and DJ Lord aren’t ready to leave music behind just yet.

With educational lyrics and subject matters highlighting racial issues, authority, politics and historical happenings to name a few, they are loved just as much for their lyrical content just as much as they are rememberd for their striking street and militant wear and of course Flav for his eccentric fashion sense and his clock medallion.

Other recipients being inducted into the Hall of Fame include the late Donna Summer , Canadian rock band Rush, blues legend Albert King and recognition for producer Quincy Jones.
