October 12, 2015 | D&LEver since word got out that Janet would be returning to the stage for her US tour, fans were hugely excited for her new album, Unbreakable, to drop. Now, with more US dates added to the Unbreakable World Tour and UK dates to match, the question on everybody’s lips is who will be supporting her?
There are almost always support acts at concerts you attend and with Missy Elliott and J.Cole currently featuring on Janet’s latest album, plus knowing that Janet has also collaborated with incredible artists in the past, the possibilities are endless.
Over the years Janet has collaborated with artists including Busta Rhymes, Diddy, Khia, Nelly, Kanye West, Joni Mitchell and Q-Tip but will any of these people be joining her on stage?
Only time will tell, but we’re positive that she will be going back in time to some of her classics such as ‘Rhythm Nation’, ‘Control’, ‘Escapade’, ‘Someone To Call My Lover’, ‘All For You’, and not just sticking to her newest tracks either.
In other Janet news, she has made the list of nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees. Some may say it’s about time, right? Holding the record of the most consecutive top 10 hits by a female artist on the Billboard Hot 100, Janet will always be recognised as one of the most influential female artists and entertainers of all time.
To find out if Janet makes the official class of 2016, all will be revealed in December and she will be inducted in April 2016 at a ceremony in New York City.
