The Pretty Little Liars actress has been openly honest about why she is so passionate about the state of gun laws at the moment and with her wide platform, after starring in one of the most popular TV series, she has a lot of ears listening.

“I was shocked when I learned that 50 American women are shot and killed every month by intimate partners like husbands or boyfriends,” said Troian. “This violence against women is entirely preventable. I’m proud to speak out to help close the loopholes in our gun laws that put women at risk.”

The series is something very close to Kimberly’s heart as she grew up in the dance world, and with her knowledge within the performing arts scene, she has found a great outlet to share this with her audience.

Oxford’s Own Perform At Common People Festival

The Common People Festival is fast approaching and hundreds of people are expected to attend the two day festival in Oxford. From May 27th to 28th, artists such as Sean Paul, Goldie, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Becky Hill and Pete Tong will all perform to the crowds, plus local artists Rhyme Skeemz and the Young Women’s Music Project (YWMP) will also be taking to the stage.

It’s a huge achievement for both artists to be sharing their music and latest projects at a festival that was such a big success last year, and we wish them all the best!
