The top story that got you talking this week:

Rihanna was looking stunning at her Fenty Beauty Launch party in London. Very rarely disappointing when it comes to her fashion sense, the artist and business lady stunned in a pastel, purple number that perfectly complimented her skin tone.

In case you missed it, other stories included:

Friday night saw Ironik present his album launch show, officially marking the release of his new album, Truth Be Told. With performances from Ashton Russell, and the likes of Ayo Beatz joining him on stage, family, friends and spectators enjoyed a live preview of the upcoming release, and the response was nothing but positive.

Our track favourites already include ‘Mercy remix’, ‘Tuff’, and ‘Watch Nuttin’. Album features include Paigey Cakey, Fekky, Snoop Dogg, Big Tobz, and more. Listen in today.

The Emmys saw some great wins and a great move forward when it comes to men and women in ethnic minorities winning big. It’s definitely something to celebrate, with big winners including Donald Glover and Lena Waithe. Not wanting to take anything away from their well deserved wins, but we look forward to the day when moments like these aren’t classed as being so rare, or out of the ordinary; that day will be a great sense of achievement.

Toddla T keeps us in Carnival flow with the announcement of his Steezey Wonderland.

After learning that One Acen will be joining Shakka as support on his, The Lost Boys Tour, the UK artist shares his new track, ‘Verified’.

Bugzy Malone has been confirmed to perform at Spotify’s, Who We Be Live, at London’s Alexandra Palace, November 30th. Other performers include J Hus, Stefflon Don, Giggs, Cardi B, and Dizzee Rascal.

DJ Khaled returns to host the BET Hip Hop Awards.

Missy Elliott reminded everyone (not that we needed reminded) just why she’s considered the GOAT when it comes to the female representation of Hip Hop, particularly when it comes to game changers of the 90s. Missy was celebrated alongside other performers and artists such as Jermaine Dupri, at this year’s Hip Hop Honors.

MAAD has new music with ‘Wonderland‘, Leanne McCrei kick starts her Soul filled solo career, and Sam Smith shared the visual for, ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’.

Plus Jhene Aiko shared her short film, Trip, along with a new album release by the same name.

With London Fashion Week coming to an end this week, it’s not too late to shop the front row at Topshop.

The showcase of new looks in the capital included the new season from Di Liborio, showcasing some amazing looks for SS18.

Eva Longoria is this week’s Fashion Favourite and T Boz is our Artist of the Week.

Netflix will play host to a new comedy, The After Party, with some familiar, famous faces in tow, including French Montana, Wiz Khalifa, and Teyana Taylor.

Wizkid and Future have your weekend anthem.
