July 21, 2014 | Daniella & Letisha Jones-EllisUS actress Lindsay Lohan is set to make her theatre debut in London’s West End!
Lindsay’s big moment will come in the form of playwright Dante Mamet’s Speed the Plow, with filming set to begin in September. Based on the original play, this latest theatre production will take on a ‘satirical dissection of the American movie business’, following its first stage adaptation back in 1998 featuring Madonna.
No doubt now spending more of her time in London, Lindsay looks forward to her new role, to which she intends to have nothing but a positive and professional approach towards. “I’m at a place in my life where I like the commitment. I’m looking forward to that part of it,” she said.
With the presence of Lohan’s name on the casting list, interest and the demand for tickets continue to rise as she makes her move from Hollywood to London city’s best acting locations for budding actors and actresses.
“I want to be known for my talents and my work that I create, rather than a tabloid sensation. However long it does take, I’m willing to do it. I’m willing to work for it.”
The complete cast list is expected soon.
