April 23, 2014 | Daniella & Letisha Jones-EllisLittle Mix are to headline their very first US tour and they couldn’t be more excited if they tried! The UK girl group started out on talent show X-Factor and have achieved many goals ever since; including their recent hit single ‘Word Up’, which was the official track for Sports Relief 2014.
The four girls – Leigh-Anne, Jesy, Perrie and Jade – will be performing 16 shows across North America throughout September and October, which will all be in aid of their latest album, Salute.
It is a huge achievement for artists to crack the audience in the US, let alone a UK group, because it’s always harder for artists from across the boarder to experience the same success abroad. But this hasn’t stopped the girls from working just as hard to make all this possible.
Both their albums, DNA and Salute have made it to the Top 10 on billboard charts, with their debut album making it to number four last year.
Now do you feel their excitement? Jade even tweeted: “So glad the #SaluteTourUSA is out there, couldn’t hold it in any longer! ‘DreamComeTrue thanks to our mixers for making it possible!”
So, before Little Mix embark on their US tour, their UK tour kicks off next month in Birmingham on May 16th. Talk about a busy year!
Good luck girls.
