June 26, 2014 | Daniella & Letisha Jones-EllisMilan Fashion Week (MFW) took place over the weekend from June 21st-24th, where men’s spring and summer 2015 looks were showcased to all audiences. Boundaries were certainly pushed when it came to the friendly competition between all designers.
One designing duo that caught our attention were DSquared2, who took this chance to show their own personal reflection of summer. With a running theme of energetic, lively and fun pieces, DSquared2 took us back to the 80’s with their vibrant statement pieces, including the leather and colourful accessories.
‘Fluorescent hues, pop-art patterns and muscular males are amongst the standout looks from this DSquared2 collection inspired by the 80s and its entire artistic era, from Basquiat to Warhol. The setting for this season dramatises a New York loft, warmly welcoming budding artists. The silhouette is young, fresh and summery.’
Plus, as there are many statement pieces for you to choose from, you need not worry about pairing separates together to complete a summer look, because DSquared2 have got you covered. Check out the printed light shirts and structured trousers they’ve got on display. You’ll become an instant fan if you aren’t already!
