April 9, 2017 | D&LRihanna is no stranger when it comes to fashion collaborations and she isn’t stopping on this work front any time soon. From Stance socks, Manolo Blahnik and Puma – to name a few – the Bajan beauty is now set to release a collaborative line with Chopard, the high-end jewellery line.
This will be a nine-piece limited edition collection, which was inspired by the colours that represent carnival fever and the star’s native of Barbados.
When speaking about the project, Caroline Scheufele (co-president and creative director of Chopard) said: “Rihanna and I collaborated closely on the collections, so you can feel her unstoppable energy, strong creativity and inherent sense of design in every piece. With her unique style, she redefines the way people see and wear jewellery.”
It was very important that Caroline worked together with Rihanna when co-designing this range so that the theme and story behind the jewellery really shone though in the finished product, and it’s not long until the official launch at the Cannes Film Festival next month.
Rihanna actually wore a pair of earrings from the range at the latest Grammy awards and another pair on her March cover for Harper’s Bazaar and the range of diamond and floral-inspired chandelier designs look stunning.
Only 2,000 editions of each earring design has been made and they will be available from Chopard boutiques from June.
Will you be one of the lucky ones to own a pair?
