NEW MUSIC MONDAY: Natalie Duncan

NEW MUSIC MONDAY: Natalie Duncan

July 27, 2015 | D&L

It’s the start of a new week and the last Monday of July; this calls for new music Monday!

The UK’s very own Natalie Duncan has revealed new music for her following, in the form of ‘Kingston’; a track which continues to showcase her developing sound and ‘supple vocals’.

Natalie has previously shared ‘On My Way’, as well as the upcoming single release ‘Oh My God’, which is currently pleasing the ears of Garage fans alike on radio playlists, including 1Xtra’s.

With the station’s MistaJam debuting ‘Oh My God’ during his ‘Inbox Fresh’ segment last month, Natalie’s sweet vocals, paired with stand out House and Garage sounds leads to feel good vibes all round, causing old school Garage ravers to reminisce on the height of the music genre, including ourselves!

Pairing up with British producer DJ Q (whose previous work includes collaborations with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Keri Hilson, Katy B and Dizzee Rascal), Natalie has actively been enjoying creating new sounds, performing at locations in and around London & sharing new music on social media as of late, further building anticipation for her EP release.

Described as ‘an artist whose sound has developed radically since the release of her nationally acclaimed debut album ‘Devil In Me’, Natalie’s new material sees her experiment with heavy electronic manipulation in the vein of FKA Twigs and Kelela.’

Included on the track listing of her upcoming new EP, Black and White, Natalie promises more infectious and influential beats to come. In the meantime, you can pre-order ‘Oh My God’ today ahead of its August 3rd release.

You can also catch Natalie performing live at Hootananny Brixton on August 1st and Cargo, August 6th. Check out some of her best below.
