February 4, 2014 | Daniella & Letisha Jones-EllisIf you are a reality show viewer, it’s more than likely your favourite is Real Housewives of Atlanta or Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. Atlanta appears to be the capital of great entertaining reality shows. Now there is a new show under wraps The Boyz Next Door.
The show follows three gay men in Atlanta, Moe Goss, Kahj Kensen and independent singer Phylle Carter, through their ups and downs in friendship, relationships and their individual lifestyles.
Unlike the Real Housewives of Atlanta’s portrayal of gay men, the show star Phylle Carter, wants it to be known that he does not carry any purses. “Weare breaking stereotypes of black gay men in Atlanta. We don’t carry purses, we don’t wear heels or make up. We are actually friends and have been for years, not just a cast of people thrown together,†said Phylle, who recently wedded his partner Nolan Carter in a private ceremony in Atlanta and is also a rising musician.
The Boyz Next Door reality show is still being shopped around to big television networks but is available for viewing to online audiences on February 7th.
