It’s a new season and if you’re ready to swap your Winter boots for some more exposed footwear (like we are), then we’re here to guide you with some of the hottest footwear for Spring.
We know it’s not quite time to be baring all with our shoe choices just yet, but with the brighter mornings we’ve been having lately, it’s a sign that we don’t have much longer to wait. Plus, there is no harm in being prepared for what’s about to come.
So, where do we start? Well, cut out detail has already been popular with ankle boots and you will see some similar designs this season with some cut-out flats. Most of the shoe is still very closed, but there is just enough of your foot on show, which is accentuated by the clever panelling.
You will also see a lot of nude colours remain, as the colour only recently made its stamp on SS15 and AW15 fashion. What we’ve always loved about nude is that it goes with everything. With its neutral tones and with more than one shade to choose from, you’ll never be stuck for accessorising when you’ve got this colour in your wardrobe.
Another design that has made an appearance on flat shoes is the ankle strap. You would usually see these paired with a stiletto heel, but as fashion is evolving, you will be seeing more of these peep-toe and pointed-toe shoes to add some more flare to your daily outfits.
Join us in taking a look at our specially picked Spring footwear collection (from Topshop & Missguided) to give yourself a head-start. Which are your favourite designs?
