NEW VIDEO: KRS-One Teaches You A Valuable Lesson

KRS-One is still doing his thing after around 35 years in the music industry and he is currently working on a mixtape titled Just Passin’ Through due for release in the near future.

But before you please your music senses with the back-to-back lyrical content of the ‘Teacha’, check out his latest work. Many artists have drawn inspiration from Hurricane Sandy, put pen to paper and created a song from the natural disaster.

In this latest visual KRS-One has put together footage of some hard-hitting scenes, showing the aftermath of the hurricane. ‘Disaster Kit’ focuses on New York and the Caribbean and the struggles that the residents of these hometowns now face.

So what do you think is the moral behind his song? Some may say he’s trying to make us aware of the unexpected. Or even that we can never prepare ourselves for such devastating occurences. We’ll let you be the judge. But for now, have a listen..
