Award winning Ghanaian artist, Livingstone Etse Satekla aka Stonebwoy, and Kojo Funds have teamed up to deliver a visually stunning, catchy single, ‘Falling Again’- taken off his next studio album, Epistles of Mama (EOM)- due in November.
This laid back Dancehall meets Afrobeats production- produced, mixed and mastered by multiple award winning Ghanaian producer, Mix Master Garzy – is performed in both English and Patois, emphasizing the diversity of both artists.
Talking about his collaboration with Kojo Funds, Stonebwoy explains;
“I was looking for someone that I felt I could relate with on the most natural level and Kojo was just the guy (being super authentic with his sound and also a brother from the Motherland). He sent his verse back very quickly and it best suited what I was trying to achieve which was the feel good/ meaningful vibe.”
Starting off as a high school Dancehall act who began as a rapper -occasionally appearing on then well-known rapping battle, Kahasari Level, and defeating established acts such as Dr Cryme, and Sarkodie- this led to him being signed to Mobo Award Winning Dancehall act, Samini’s own record record label, Zylofon Media
Stonebwoy rose to international fame in 2014 with his hit single, ‘Baafira’, featuring Sarkodie’, and went on to form his own musical movement, Burniton Music Group (BMG) after the release of his first album, Grade 1.
