March 1, 2012 | Daniella & Letisha Jones-EllisLady Gaga has been busy arranging the launch of her Born This Way Foundation and it was officially opened to the public yesterday at Harvard University. One of the messages that Gaga wants to give through this organisation is a prevention of bullying as she says ‘this is all about transformative change’.
To the students at the University, Gaga also said: “This is about changing the climate of the school environment and not putting the power in the hands of the teachers or the government. I don’t believe they have the answers. I believe that you do.” Definitely some strong words to think about.
We look forward to what Gaga has in store to continue preventing bullying and offering a foundation that people can reach out to. What we do know is that her Born To Be Brave bus is on tour! This will be a ‘safe haven’ for her fans to ‘come together to contemplate ways to end violence’.
“It will welcome anyone from any walk of life to come and hang out and talk about love, acceptance or kindness,” said Gaga. “And the best thing about it is it’s going to be fun.”
