September 26, 2017 | D&LPaloma Faith is back with new music, an album drop, and an arena tour in tow!
Following the release of her new single, ‘Crybaby’, the single follows the double platinum success of her previous three albums, making her one of two British female artists this decade in the UK to do so.
Now sharing the visual for ‘Crybaby’, Paloma touches upon the themes of the November 17th album release, The Architect.
Wanting a more modern album, she said, “On previous albums I’ve been more concerned with the past, but now I’m looking forward because of motherhood and wanting to change things for a better future. It’s a marriage of old and new.”
With collaborators including Sia, John Legend, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, and even Samuel L Jackson, we look forward to hearing the self described, social observation album.
“I was adamant that I wouldn’t write about love,” she continued. “I wanted to look outside of myself. I’m coming at politics from the perspective of the common man or woman, observing why people are suffering. Each song on the record is about a different pocket of the socio-political world that I’ve been delving into.”
On that note, be sure to keep an eye out for tour dates and venues, including a stop at London o2 on March 14th.
