March 5, 2015 | D&LParis Fashion Week (PFW) is well underway following this week’s launch events and there’s still much more to come.
The end of Milan Fashion Week saw an appearance from none other than Snoop Dogg himself at the ETAM show, as he joined performers such as Lilly Wood and The Ting Tings to provide live catwalk music for the runway during designer Natalia Vodianova’s lingerie show.
As guessed, model of the moment Kendall Jenner will be on the catwalk following her recent ill spell, which caused her absence in Milan, but what’s in store for AW15 womenswear as we hit Paris? Well, in between now and March 11th, expect the latest from Danielle Romeril, Holly Fulton, Ryan Lo, Sibling, Marques’Almeida and more, as they end the season’s fashion shows in France. The line up will also include a special guest Diesel tribute, led by Nicola Formichetti.
Recognise some of the designer names making their way to the French capital? Well, London Show Rooms is synonymous for showcasing London based designers on a more national scale, as their work is introduced to European audiences, following the AW15 journey from New York to London and Milan.
Did you know the Jeanne Lanvin exhibition becomes open to the public on Sunday March 8th, with the house being 100% dedicated to the house Jeanne built more than 125 years ago? The event follows Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz’s party on the Friday. Plus, Creative Director Nadege Vanhee-Cybulski will add her magic to Hermes in a debut for the new womenswear collection. Nadege has experience designing and working with fashion houses Celine, Margiela and The Row.
Anyone else already pre-empting a fashion sized void to fill once fashion week season is over? As we start PFW day two, here are a few more of those signature moments from Milan and day one.
