Pitched Up returns for another month, but this time around DJ Target and Danny Weed have pulled out all the stops, as it has a new venue and is in a different city!
On October 2nd, Pitched Up will be in Leeds at O2 Academy, as they bring the East London music circuit to the West. Featuring Dialect, Manga, Logan Sama, DJ Q & MC Kie, Tom Zanetti & Ko Kane, Troopa and UK rap favourite Fekky, who recently performed at BBC 1Xtra’s Proms event, the night is already guaranteed to be one full of incredible talent.
Manchester Grime MC, Bugzy Malone, will also be performing a set and many fans will be looking forward to seeing him, as his recent EP has so far charted at number six in the national charts; no doubt he’ll be performing some of his highly recognised tracks to represent the new edge he’s bringing to our current music scene!
Another rising group who will be hitting the stage is Section Boyz, whose current tracks ‘Delete My Number’ and ‘Trapping Ain’t Dead’ are currently circulating the UK fan base.
DJ Target and Danny Weed have been working incredibly hard over the past year to make this new music platform a success for all involved with their local, upcoming talent and with this new October arrangement, they’re hoping to break even more boundaries.
The pair recently explained: “Originally we started Pitched Up to provide a fresh platform for new DJ’s and artists to showcase their music at a cool East London venue where we could attract a really cool crowd.
“After its initial success we have grown it into a label that has passion and purpose for all things fresh and exciting from the world of new music. Exciting times are ahead for Pitched Up.” There certainly are!
The dynamic duo have been pivotal to the development of numerous UK acts and now with even more focus on homegrown talent via their brand, they’re doing a great job at uniting like-minded people and bringing them together to showcase original music for acts to launch their careers.
Tickets are now available for the event today.
