Public Enemy Are Set To Release Their 13th Studio Album

July 12, 2012 | Daniella & Letisha Jones-Ellis

‘911 Is a Joke’, ‘Fight The Power’, ‘Don’t Believe The Hype’, the list of powerful, educational and memorable tracks released by notorious hip-hop group Public Enemy just goes on and with a career going strong into its second decade, the group are not stopping just yet.

Well known for highlighting social problems within black communities, attacking stereotypical views and creating their own image for hip-hop from the late 80’s to today, members including Flava Flav and Chuck D are still celebrated for their lyrical content, outlandish personalities and their effect on changing society’s ways.

With new music from their latest album Most Of My Heroes Don’t Appear On No Stamp has created a buzz as of late and with album titles still as striking as those of their singles (It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back and Fear Of A Black Planet to name a few), it’s safe to say time has not altered the image or significance of what this group stands for.
