October 10, 2017 | D&LSinger-songwriter Natty released his new album, Release The Fear, and also announced his brand new UK tour at the tail end of the year.
The new album, recorded with newly-established band, The Rebelship, blends Natty’s enlightening lyrics with African beats, acoustic sounds, analogue soundscapes and soaring melodies.
In addition to releasing this autobiographical album, San Francisco born and London raised Natty has announced his UK tour, which kicks off on November 26th in Manchester, and finishes at Norwich Arts Centre on December 8th.
Describing it as a ‘self-produced labour of love’, Natty hopes that the album -which stands as an important part of his journey as an artist and a person- will serve as a source of inspiration and strength to his listeners.
Since exploding onto the scene via Atlantic Records in 2008, with debut album Man Like I, Natty has been a treasured icon in the UK music scene. With his loyal and ever growing fan base he said, “Bringing people joy and healing has been my greatest work”.
The official video- created by Bashart Malik- for the track ‘Seasons Change’ featuring Alborosie and Busy Signal has also been released.
When not spending his time collaborating and featuring on the likes of ITV News and The BBC Electric Proms, Natty spends his time travelling to places like Gambia, working with orphanages and meeting spiritual leaders in Africa and South America – all of which contributes his experiences as a musician.
