Snoop Dogg: From Gun Campaigns To A New Album

March 12, 2015 | D&L

Snoop Dogg has announced the release of his upcoming album and the whole project was produced by none other than Pharrell Williams.

Together the two music artists have created Bush, which will feature ten new songs, including the latest single release, ‘Peaches n Cream‘.

Featuring everyone’s favourite Uncle in music, Charlie Wilson, the music legend and Pharrell jump on the track, which is proving to be a great introduction to the new project, due in May, but available for pre-order today.

Following the news that the hip hop artist will be headlining Lovebox festival this Summer, Snoop will also be fronting another campaign that lies close to his heart. That is of course the #ImUnloading campaign, which is an anti-gun crime movement that is also being supported by Jhene Aiko, Aloe Blacc and well known faces within the sports world.

His inclusion in the campaign sees Snoop preach to others about avoiding invested time in the gun industry. Having lost friends, family and associates through gun crime himself, Snoop is all for the campaign and fully supports the organisations efforts.

Remember Snoop’s feature on the ‘No Guns Allowed‘ single back in 2013? Featuring alongside Cori B (his daughter) and Drake in light of revised gun laws, the trio united in grief to create a positive track and spoke out to the masses on gun culture, simply stating the words, no guns allowed.

With a working relationship track record of singles ‘Beautiful’ and ‘Lets Get Blown’ between Snoop & Pharrell, we look forward to hearing the album in full! Here’s the new single.
