March 21, 2013 | Daniella & Letisha Jones-EllisThis weekend the nineties era will be making a huge comeback for one night only, as groups Jodeci, Blackstreet, Dru Hill, SWV and Changing Faces hit Wembley Arena for a night of reminiscing, good vibes and a party trip down memory lane.
Keeping the nineties rnb scene alive with club bangers, love ballads and mid-tempo tracks to groove to, Jodeci, Blackstreet, Dru Hill, SWV and Changing Faces were responsible for hits such as ‘Fienin”, ‘No Diggity’, ‘We’re Not Making Love No More’, ‘Right Here’ and ‘Bad All By Myself’, creating the soundtrack of life and memories for many, whether they grew up during the era or grew to love their timless music in later years.
Being huge fans of the nineties at L’ART, we just had to go to the back of the stack for this week’s Throwback Thursday, so here’s Dru Hill with ‘How Deep Is Your Love’.
What are your favourite nineties tracks?
Don’t forget you can catch our feature with opening act Damage in the next issue of L’ART online April 1st.
