Throwback Thursday: Trina

March 5, 2015 | D&L

All she ever wanted was a real one; these are the words Trina raps to you, as the female hip hop artist unveils her new music.

Sharing tracks ‘Real One’ featuring vocalist Rico Love and ‘Lean On Me’, featuring T-Pain and Young Cash, Trina offers her softer side and her party girl side, as she shares her latest projects with her fans.

Breaking it down emotionally and causing listeners to ‘turn up’ within the space of a few days, the Miami, Florida native has the fans insisting she has another few hits on her hands, as we await the release of her sixth forthcoming album (expected to hit stores and online early this year).

Sampling the notorious ‘Lean On Me’ track by Bill Withers, Trina puts her own spin on the single, as she creates an anthem of her own, bringing the past hits to the present day. Speaking of the past, can you believe her debut album – Da Baddest B*tch – is now 15 years old?

How do you like Trina’s new releases? We’ve thrown in a throwback to ‘Here We Go‘ featuring Kelly Rowland for your Thursday listening.
