October 20, 2014 | D&LRadio DJ and show presenter Wendy Williams will be hosting this year’s Soul Train Awards!
The popular talk show host will take to the stage on November 7th at Las Vegas’ Orleans Arena, as she aids in the smooth running of the awards ceremony that honours the work and music achievements of the best in Black music and entertainment on Black Entertainment Television (BET).
“As a longtime lover of R&B and hip-hop, I am beyond excited to host this year’s Soul Train Awards on Centric,” Wendy said. “It is an honor to be a part of the biggest night in music and highlight the achievements of both legends and rising talent.”
With the nominees being announced, Chris Brown leads the way with seven nominations, including Best Hip Hop Song Of The Year with ‘Loyal’, with Beyonce closely behind with six and Pharrell with five.
